Indoor Rifle Range
We believe we have the best club facilities in the North West for Air Rifle and Pistol Shooting for you to enjoy.
Take our 50 meter Rifle Range with 20+ places for shooters to enjoy there sport. Complete with Scope zeroing targets set at 20meters 30 meters 40meters and 55meters for those who have a scope with at least 16X magnification.
The range consists of knockdown targets some of which are manually reset and others automatic after 20meters in various formats. For those with a keen eye there are bell boxes with a small aperture to activate.

Set at 55 meters we have some rather difficult exploding targets, which as you can see here from the concentration are there for the eagle eyed amongst us.
They do strike up a rather keenly fought but friendly bit of competition amongst our members at every session.

THE MONTHLY SHOOT OUT
Once a month on a Tueasday we hold a members 55 meter rifle shooting competition which is proving very popular amongst the members.(No other rifle shooting is carried out on this night).
It consists of two rounds of 25 shots each at a paper target set at 50 meters, as you can see from this picture it looks further than you think

The club also has a 15 meters range normally used by our younger members which consists of paper targets and knockdown targets. BB rifles and pistols are NOT permitted in this area.
As you can see here this is a great area for family shooting and is ever popular for the enjoyment of children's birthday parties, where we insist on a responsible adults being present throughout, we do supply a Range Master to instruct and oversee to ensure a good time is had by all attending.
