Here at Rochdale Air Gun Club we have a number of disciplines to suit all shooters from beginners to experienced shooters.

The plinking range 15m with many knock down from 5m – 15m targets and paper targets on the back wall, Electronic pistol targets and retrievable paper targets

Pistol Range 10m. Dedicated pistol range with retrievable paper targets

50m bench rest range-19 bays. knock down targets, spinners and bell targets from 15m – 50m The rear wall is paper targets

Gun hire- Rifles and pistols

Pellets- available for purchase at reception

When you’re taking a break we have onsite hot and cold drinks, hot food and snacks.

Why not come down and pay us a visit.

2023 Competition Results

Dear members, the end of 2023 is upon us and the results of our club competitions are in! Please see below the results for the RAGC 10-metre pistol competition and the 50-metre rifle competition.

On behalf of the committee, I want to thank all of our members, staff included, for their continued support and effort to make our club the friendly and positive-spirited environment it is. It is truly a pleasure to come to the club during any of our sessions and I hope you all feel the same way.

I wish you all a very happy new year and hope to see you in person at the club again soon.
Please remember: The club is not open tomorrow, the 31st of December. We will be back in action on Tuesday 2 January 2024 with the first 50-metre Inter-Club Competition of the year.

10-metre pistol competition
Congratulations to all competitors who managed to get a full roster of scores.
The winner of the RAGC 10m Club Competition, without surprising anyone, is Ivan Ivanov, well done Ivan! I know you feel you should do better, but you’re definitely doing better than the rest of us at least!
In second place we have Jon Pike, well done Jon!
And in third place, much to my own surprise and probably due to some others dropping out as well, Wes Groot.

50-metre Rifle Competition

The full results sheet for the 50-metre club competition is available on the 50-metre board. For this competition there was some discussion as to whether we drop the 2 or 3 lowest results. In the end, that discussion is largely irrelevant, as the image below will show. Whether we drop 2 or 3 results makes no difference to the top 5, but because dropping 3 scores was agreed, the right-hand column below is considered the official result.

In first place, for the second year running, Tony Kay. Well done Tony!
In second place we have Chris Turner, just falling short but he knows why and next year he will really be chasing that title!
In third place we have Jay, who might have won if he were able to pick a rifle and stick with it!
All three, I’m sure, will be in the race for the top again next year, with the first instalment of the 50-metre Internal Competition set to take place on Tuesday 9 January 2024 and this year counting 10 out of a maximum 12 scores again.

RAGC & Rivington Riflemen Monthly Competition Scores & Results – 5th April 2022

The results are in from our latest competition between Rochdale and Rivington Riflemen. This week Rivington were also joined by some friends from Leigh/Bolton range.

Rochdale were successful in this event but Rivington have been the winners at some of the recent competitions. We will try to post some historic scores at some point in the future.

Well done to all shooters and thanks for another enjoyable evening.

‼️We are now taking phone bookings‼️😃

Bookings will only be taken in club opening hours..😃👍🏻

When you book over the phone, you will be sent a link to make a payment, then you will have an hour to make your payment. If your payment isn’t made within the hour your booking slot will be cancelled.

Hope this will go along way to helping our staff and members to maintain social distancing within the club. Also helping those members that do live some distance from the club to guarantee a shooting lane. 👍🏻

Thanks again to all members for your patient and understanding as we all come to terms to these new processes. 👍🏻

Membership and Renewals 2025/2026

Hi all.

In order to speed up our process in handling renewals and new memberships. Here is the form that needs to be filled in.

We ask ALL renewals and new members alike to print this pic off and fill in before attending the club (if possible) and bring 2 forms of ID. This will speed up the process due to the limited amount of people we are allowed to have on site and will in turn avoid any possible queuing outside the club until it’s safe for you to enter.

All current members please be aware if you don’t bring your membership card along with you when attending the club you will not be allowed to enter (unless you are renewing your membership as it’s due to run out). Due to the number of persons wanting to join as a new members, once expired current members have 1 months grace to renew before their place is forfeited.

Once again sorry for what seems very harsh rules but we have to be mindful of numbers on site at anyone time.
