2025 AGM

Dear members,
On 31 May 2025 at 10:00 am the club will host the Annual General Meeting.

The doors will open around 9:00, allowing members onto site to have a brew and some preliminary discussion. Please note that the club will NOT be open for shooting during the morning session of 31 May 2025.

After the AGM we will also formally award the 2024 Club Competition trophies to respective winners and runners up of our 50m rifle and 10m pistol competitions.

All members are strongly encouraged to attend this meeting. Important announcements concerning how the Committee and Staff will deal with safety infractions will be discussed.

At the club, in the old merchandise display in the entrance corridor, you can find all the documentation relating to the AGM; the notification with the date and time of the meeting, the meeting agenda, and the Committee sign-up sheet. Please note, all positions on the Management Committee are up for re-election, so if you want to contribute to the future of your club, make sure to put your name down.

The main topic for this AGM will be a change in how we deal with safety issues.
We continue to see too many “casual” safety infringements and these must stop.

You will however be pleased to note that the Committee feels comfortable to postpone a discussion and vote on further price increases for at least another 6 months.

Below you can find the agenda for this meeting. If you have any business you wish to be raised at the AGM, please contact a member of the Committee and make sure your request/proposal is forward to myself (Wes Groot) the secretary so that it can be added to the agenda.

As has become customary on AGM Day, there will be no shooting during the morning of the AGM but all attendees are welcome to remain for the afternoon session free of charge.

Prospective visitors:
Please be aware that on AGM Day the club is closed to non-members all day.
